Cedar Waxwing

These birds are usually at the top of trees chasing bugs against a dull sky backdrop, so it was a real treat to spot this fella getting a meal amongst lily pads.

Nikon Z 9 & Z 800mm @ f/6.3, 1/3200, ISO 1250, handheld from the kayak.
