A common flower that's blooming in my area. I liked the foreground flower's irregular petals.

Canon R5, 180, f/4, stacked

There's a certain sense of freedom conveyed thru the irregularity.....

My eyes are always drawn to the oof flowers.....v nice too....

Think stacking gives you more choice
in how the final image turns out??

Wats your choice of stacking program??

Stacking in this image permits a bit more detail - just a smidge - while leaving the background soft and secondary.
With stack of just a few images like this image, I stack manually in layers. I use software when it gets too complicated to do manually.
Thanks!

Nice thinking and composition Tom. Like the stacking effect for these.

Beautiful composition and effect of near/far, focused and blurry. The foreground glower looks like it's ready to take off. :)

Love the colors.
Also like how the eye goes from the f/g flower to the oof b/g flowers.
I also find manual stacking works best sometimes
