Looks like a very adept little camera - at $2500.- it should sell well.

I think Nikon has another winner here. It's great to see them introduce more and more awesome cameras.
I won't buy one (just bought a Z8) but I think this camera has a lot of potential buyers.

Next I want a 4/200 Z Micro :-)

A new 200 MC would be great - although I think Nikon may surprise us with a new macro zoom akin to the 70-180 they made previously.

Is the viewfinder blackout free when using the electronic shutter?

As stated by Thom, it is Scott.  Good news.  Scroll down to viewfinder section.

It's not really a camera I need or want since I have the Z8/Z9, but it looks like a good model for Nikon.

Curious
Will the z6III be a better Astro/night camera than the z8 or 9?
I currently use the z8/9 but as I get into more night photography I’m just curious

And why don't you buy an astro camera?
I have so so many old DSLRs and one old mirrorless and i use NONE of them for astro to be honest, i know people well say "i have this camera now and not planning to buy another", in this case use whatever you have and don't ask, and for me it is really silly to buy another DSLR or mirrorless to try it for astro, if you can afford it do it, if not then use it and don't think about how good or bad it is for astro because it is not designed for astro basically, same that i will never use my dedicated astro cameras for sports or birds or portraits for example.

I have this camera- it's my first mirrorless..ah, well, I actually bought the Zf before I know this was coming.....they are very different, so i use them differently, though I probably don't need them both....

Anyone else get one?
