At the Orchid Garden, the orchids are usually grown in a tight cluster...so my thinking was to get the main parts of the petal and the flower centre to be in focus while rendering those flowers behind oof. Kind of achieved my aim. But overlooked the water droplets which would be great to have in focus....well, another time.....

It's a very nice view KK, emphasising the important parts perfectly well. Looks like you'll also have more opportunities if you want. Like it as presented, with a water drop version something to look forward to as well.

I agree, but what a rich colour and lovely capture of the little 'orchid person' Darren. I love to look for them in orchids!

Well done- don't really miss the drops in this one. Looks like a bee face in the center. Great color.

Vibrant colors are what this fine image is about, not the drop details.

Nice frontal shot.
I find orchids to be difficult subjects.
You have done well here.
