I set out this morning wanting to work on these damselflies. Sharing this heavily cropped version. Decided to use tripod and adopt a no-flash approach.
Must work harder to get a higher mag version next time.

Hope its a nice view for a start and comments welcomed for improvement and future shoots.

90D, 180Tamron +1.4TC,
Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority

ISO Speed 640
Flash Off
tripod-supported.
PS and Topaz denoise.

Everything is good... light, color, DOF...
Personally, I stopped using flash in macro, in some situations I have good results with a small LED lamp that can adjust the intensity and color of the light... it gave me more control...

Great close view- very luminous. Wish we could see the whole damsel...still, this is excellent.
