The female tries to look small and insignificant, telling the male that it is not time to mate yet. Wait a few more month. :)

Thanks Dave. I might be totally wrong about the body language. :oops: I know that they start mating in February when the display and competition among males becomes more prevalent. That time the females pose too. Love this species and I feel lucky to be able to observe them in relative close proximity.
