CANON R7
CANON 100-500 RF @ 500mm
f7.1 @ 1/100
ISO 1250

This Magnolia Warbler was on his or her ( difficult to determine age and sex between adults and juveniles at this time of year), way South, for the Fall migration journey. ( Destinations for this species range from the West Indies, Mexico, Central America, with limited numbers going as far as Northern South America). It seems it was only yesterday that the songbirds were arriving , and now they are leaving..... where does the time go.

Province of Ontario, Canada, image- September 8, 2023.

Paul, Nice details and colors. Wish the leaf in the forefront was not there.

A lovely image of this little beauty busy foraging among the leaves, Paul. Very sweet. I agree, this year has just flown by but I won't be sorry to see the days getting cooler after the heatwaves we've been having.
