The Saddle billed stork with its colorful beak was a target species - another Lifer added to my cap. The beauty of its beak stands out from afar in the swaying greens of the Maasai Mara Savannah. Intriguing was the question - why is it called -saddle billed : cropped closeup of a sharp shot and the answer is obvious! Enjoy the colors, the saddle is for looks only - not for riding!!
