Been a loooong time since I've posted my images anywhere.

Life has been fairly chaotic and a rollercoaster for me, even before Covid hit, but I am slowly getting my will and energy back to put some work into my photography again.

This is from a recent overlanding 4x4 trip to the Richtersveld, one of the most remote regions in Southern Africa, and also one of the driest places on earth. It was nealy full moon, so I had to get up at 04h00 to get some stars in frame before sunlight came into play.

Beautiful composition, I can only imagine how dark it must be there.

Nice to see your work again Morkel. I assume you hand lit the FG or maybe the enough moon to light the scene, either way, looks great.
I might take some blue out of the night sky..

A beautiful scene Morkel. The early bird gets the "worm", so to speak.

Welcome back. Love the glow in the sky and subtle light on the rocks. Marvellous mood.
