Alluringly beautiful ice caves are a beauty to enjoy in the right weather and with a guide always who knows the lay of the land better than you. And it helps one focus on the purpose u r there. Going around the Matanuska glacier we came to a small cave with an entry just about 2-3 feet in height. I could crawl in easily but looking at the these delicate razor sharp thousand surgical knives and the ensuing pain and bleeding i quickly decided against but managed to get a few closeups. I left without any damage to self and the fragile sculptures.
