Great Horned Owlet

This little guy was probably pushed out of the nest by it’s two siblings. The nest was getting crowded. He/she was barely able to fly just above the ground, so I hope it survived the night last night. This is at a local park. Phone image processed in MIX app.

Love the layered effect in this Joe, very nicely done and yes, really hope this little one survived. Those eyes are gorgeous.

It can be a tough start to life when your siblings play rough in nature's fight for the survival of the fittest, can't it Joe. The texture used works beautifully on the feathers of this youngster and the light catches the eyes to ice the cake.
