Thanks all, for your nice comments. The snowy part, by the way, was  derived from the snowbanks around my driveway and my car, almost buried in snow! A few tweaks, obviously. But we had 20+ inches, and another storm is coming.  :)
The hawk haunted our bird feeders for 2-3 weeks, chasing blue jays with no success!  I kept wondering why it didn't try for some smaller birds, but as far as I know, it didn't get any birds at all.
