We're having a blizzard tonight, one I hope will herald the end of Winter.  I was digging through some old images and thinking about Spring and George Harrison's song "Here Comes the Sun" came to mind, which reminded me of this image that I processed to appear like an oil painting.  .....Little darlin', I feel that ice is slowly melting,  Little darlin', it seems like years since it's been clear, Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun

Cool effect and looks like the perfect image to process during a blizzard. It was pouring here yesterday, too warm for snow, though.

Love the connection with that song- a very sunny shot, beautifully rendered. And we have 20 inches of snow here today!! Sunflower is a welcome sight.

What a golden treat on a bleak and cold winter day!
