I'm continuing my dig back through the archives of unprocessed images.  This one was taken in 2009 at a wildlife rehabilitation centre that has since closed, unfortunately.  Unlike most centres where you view and photograph the animals from a viewing area outside a fence, at this one you were inside the enclosure with the pack of wolves so they were really close.  The instructions were don't kneel down and don't run ... you look like food.

Always good to see these intelligent and beautiful animals Malcolm, a lovely image - and back then we used to get more of the kind of snowfall we expected in winter!

Beautiful wolf and I like the winter setting and light. Interesting that they let people inside the fenced area, I guess that kept it interesting for the animals wondering whether that is a visitor or a meal. :)

Beautiful animal-love the snowy setting. Wolf is looking kind of hungry! ;)
