Photographed at the Massachusetts shore. This is the Long-necked Surf Scoter subspecies. :)

I think you got a very rare sighting of this 'long-neck' subspecies, Axel....... Very rare indeed!   :D   A nicely caught moment as he has a good stretch to do some star gazing!

You certainly have an excellent collection of uncommon waterfowl species, Axel, and this image is another fine one, as well.
