Male Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfisher (Tanysiptera sylvia) delivering food to the nest, from the wing I'd guess a cicada. The nest is in a termite mound in which the birds have made an opening. After nesting the termites will reclaim their nest and fill in the opening. He only pokes his head in for a rapid food transfer, then pushes off and flies to a nearby perch. Trying to get this in the rainforest darkness leads to some interesting techs, but DXO raw conversion is quite good.

ISO 32,000, 400mm, f4.5, 1/2000, on R5.

A very unique image, Greg, and as in previous postings, an interesting text to accompany the photograph.
