CANON 400mm F 5.6
F 7.1 @ 1/800
ISO 1250

This Hummingbird was investigating a Bee Balm plant , which is one of their favourites. Sometimes they will feed briefly, other times they will look, and then fly away- certainly unpredictable very often for their feeding behaviour.

Beautifully timed to catch her extended nectaring tongue, Peter! What a little beauty.
