The Lobster Claw nebula in Cassiopeia at 1600mm.
Processed in SHO (Sulphur, Hydrogen, Oxygen) Hubble palette colors.
14 hours imaged in dark sky at Prineville reservoir state park, Oregon.

Very cool - I had not heard of this nebula before but I can see the claw. Another amazing shot. Out of curiosity, wwhy are the majority of stars cyan? Is that the SHO processing?

Thanks E.J., my stars are pretty bad, the worst part of my workflow.
My filter takes out the star color for the most part.
The best astro images use frames shot in RGB with no filter and use those stars combined with the filters to get accurate color.

This reminds me of a Jackson Pollock painting! The stars look like scattered paint against an abstract background. It is, of course, also a marvelous photo of the nebula as well. :)
