Love the mood in this morning mist view, Sinuhe, it really speaks of the stillness of approaching autumn.  Good to hear you have finally found your new family member, I hope she brings you all the love and companionship that Joy brought into your lives, and the lead hanging by the door will now have a new purpose.  :)

Carol.

Thank you Dave, Carol and Cindy for the kind comments - our sedentary lives have indeed been turned topsy-turvy - as we enter our rollercoaster adventure with a new pup - wouldn't have it any other way!
