The shot of this area I posted a month back or so, was not the shot I went there to take, as I couldn't find it. After more research, I finally pinpointed it and went back to capture it. What piqued my interest originally, was that the image had popped up on my Windows 11 screen as wallpaper, and I just had to find it and photograph it. This shot is probably taken at a higher elevation than the image I saw, but it will do for me. As you can see, the heather was just starting to appear.

A lovely composition showing this amazing vista, Peter! I love the colour palette and play of light on the surrounding landscape.

Gorgeous colors , composition and light! I love looking far back into the hills with the river (lake?) leading the way. No wonder you wanted to go back- well worth the effort.
