It's a lovely composition EJ and I like the colour you achieved in the sky and the milky way. I think you needed 15 seconds rather than the 20 you used as there is some tear dropping in the stars themselves.

Great Comp and location and time of year for the Core...
Sony makes a 1.8? Nice.
I assume this is also a blend? How did you get the earth still for 400 seconds?

It is stacked with a program called Starry Landscape Stacker which adjusts each image and lines it up so that the stars match up.  Of course the foreground is taken from a single image shot at a lower ISO for much longer.  That is how many are doing MW shots these days that have foreground.
