....to Jupiter and Mars....

Our 1st attempt at photographing the Milky Way....finally found a sufficiently dark spot and a cloud free night before the moon appears again.

Still have a lot to learn - really enjoyed the awesome experience of witnessing this marvel - how dull our city night skies have become.

Nikon Z9 with Nikkor AFS 14-24mm.

Image processed with PS and Topaz.

Thanks for the visit - have a great WE.

It looks like you caught Elon Musk's starlink satellite train blighting the night sky across the milky way, Sinuhe!    The night sky is a wonderful thing to just stay and watch for a while when you can escape light pollution.  :)

Have a good weekend yourselves.

Carol.

Wonderful scene Sinuhe. As Carol said, the night sky is quite beautiful when viewed without light pollution.. Have a great WE also.

Great to be in a really dark area and I was also wondering if you caught a satellite or airplane.

So wonderful to see such remote , wondrous beauty. The moving object is interesting! I like the outline of the hills for contrast.

Thank you Axel and Cindy - it was an aircraft that passed through - fortuitously in the middle of the frame & exposure!
