An uninspiring test shot of the moon with some layers and texture!

You have transformed an uninspiring test shot into a very interesting shot, I really like the treatment you have decided to apply.

I love your thinking, the content and beautiful treatment with colours and textures here, Clive.  I can't quite get my head around the 3D effect on the moon - it feels like its about to explode from my screen and zoom right at me, which is a little disconcerting.  :)

Love the various textures-very abstract in concept. Maybe put the moon a bit more off-center, and enlarge the birds? Very different and interesting creation in any case.

Carol.
I know what you mean Carol. The 3D effect evolved itself during the layering process!
