Gosky scope/binocular cell phone adapters

Gosky makes two types of cell phone to scope binocular adapters.
In one the adapter attaches to the eyepiece by turning a diaphragm-like device:

In the other the adapter is attached to the eyepiece with a screw:

Has anyone had experience with both/either of these? Which one is preferable?
