Was out shooting the moon-got several shots with trees clear and moon clear, so I superimposed some of the branches on the moon. Brr- it was cold this AM. No time to set up tripod-the moon speeds across the sky!

Just an experiment....

It definitely works very well for me, Cindy! A beauty with a lovely mood captured - and the halo of light coming from the moon gives a great effect. Very appropriate for the week of the winter solstice!

Great shot Cynthia. I find that by choosing to insert the branches you have made the composition not obvious.
A very good choice and exemplary execution, the details on the moon are really beautiful.
