I do for 95% of tasks that I do. Latest gen i7. A fast graphics card (not the fastest but still fast). 64 GB RAM. Then I downloaded a GoPro app and tried to convert some GoPro videos on my micro-sd card. It was VERY slow and took a LONG time. I will have to check but think the card reader is USB3. Maybe the bottleneck is the card-reader. Yes, I should copy the files to an SSD drive and then convert from there.
