I haven't used the body for too long. When I shoot in Servo and shoot a short 3-4 frame burst, the viewfinder momentarily shows the image just shot before I can again see what I'm shooting. I haven't found a setting that fixes this

Shut off the image review. On pages 242-245 of the advanced user guide it tells you how to disable image review and/or viewfinder review.
