For closeup lens/filter does anyone know how the marumi dhg achromat macro 330 etc compare to the canon 500D or 250D.

Edit: Understand that results will vary depending on the lens and settings of the lens to which the Marumi is connected. 

Thanks for the link. I'm tending to think it is pretty comparable to the Canon. Marumi has many more sizes and of course is in current production. Canon is not. It is surprising that in US very fer stores carry it.
