Best Pano Software

Good morning,

I used to use AutoPano Pro stitching software and really liked it, but after it crashed one time, I tried downloading it again but couldn't find my Key and APP would never respond to my emails and now, of course, they're out of business.  I've tried using CS6 and sometimes it does a decent job, sometimes not.

I'm considering purchasing PTGui but wanted to get other opinions before I pull the trigger there.  I would love to hear your thoughts about what software you use.

I use to use Panorama Factory but got fed up with its handling of the foreground.  Last year I got PTGui and was amazed at how much better it handled foregrounds and stitching.  I can highly recommend it!

I use PTGUI too and besides the 3 default stitching models, there are numerous others in the drop down.   Vedutismo and Mercator are especially useful stitching models.  I use one of those two more often than all of the others.  Here's a page that describes exactly what each projection model actually does:

PTGUI has I guess a regular and pro version. What is the difference and is it worth it?
