Should it be possible to use my Nikon Flashes (SB-910 and SU-800 Wireless R1C1) on my Sony A7RIII? 

I would love to be able to use the Sony 90mm Macro with the R1C1 kit. I cant seem to get it to work. 

I know ages ago E.J. mentioned about using a Nikon flash on the original A7R and I bought the Nissan i40 on his recommendation and I still use that today. 

You should be able to use it in manual flash mode only and you will have to manually wake up the flash everytime it goes to sleep.

I’ll give that a try in manual and let you know.

I tried the SB-910 on the A7RIII and as you said it works in Manual.

I’ll try the SU-800 next, if that works with the rest of the R1C1 kit I will be very happy.

Tried the Nikon R1C1 Flash setup tonight. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with the Sony. It consists of the SU-800 and 2 x SB-R200 wireless slave.

I would have loved to use it in conjunction with the Sony 90mm Macro. Not to be. 

Try looking for a Sony to Nikon hot shoe adapter but make sure it's the new Sony hot shoe interface not the old Minolta one used on the original Sony digital cameras.
