I purchased one of these for $45 and a used Nikon 1 J1 w/lens for $125. The underwater housing arrived two days ago and is really well made. It is robust and definitely worth the $45 expense. I can add a high quality strobe for about $160 and will have a deep dive capable camera w/ a decent sensor for less than $400. While not free, it is a very affordable way to find out if I like underwater photography.
