Here is the internet page showing that neonicotinioids are killing our Monarchs.   In fact, neonics kill all insects.

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=ht ... eclines%2F

When you buy insecticides for home use, the overwhelming odds are that you are buying neonicotinoids.

Please stop buying any insecticide at all.  We need all our native insects.  Over 95% of our native passerine bird species, must feed their nestlings a diet of mostly insects.

Americans have been brainwashed by the chemical giants to believe that they must use these poisons to have acceptable lawns.  This is a perversion of what is natural.

Most Americans now believe that insects are bad things and must be killed.

The opposite is the truth; i.e. most terrestrial food webs on the planet are dependent on a large group of insect species as their primary consumers.  Without the insects, there is no food web.

We have killed off most of the terrestrial food web in suburban America because we killed the native herbaceous plants (you know...... those things the lawn and chemical companies have convinced you are weeds).  And we have killed most of our native insects.

The food web cannot survive without the insects. The chemical companies have lied to us, by saying that these insecticides are targeting only those insects that are eating the plant that we want to survive.  This is a lie.  No insecticide is lethal to just one species.  In fact, insecticides are lethal to all animals.

You can put out all the Milkweed plants you want.  If you are also spraying insecticides, you are wasting your time.

But there are so few people who respond to any of theses posts, that the few of us who do participate, wonder if anyone is getting the message.

Please participate.   The biosphere is your studio.  You use it so you should take care of it.
