Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Landscapes Gallery, week ending 21st December, 2012!hey guys,

i know that this shot may disqualify for the landscape forum - so feel free to move it to t&c. of course it would have taken me only a few clicks to ged rid of the human element but the fact is that i have too much respect for alister benn to use the clone tool on him ;)

i took this shot 3 minutes after "Stream of Life".

thanks for taking the time to look!

joerg

LOL - with the amount of work I have on I could do with a clone :-)

Fabulous image Joerg, and sorry to be the EHK in it...

Works for me! Including Alister Benn in the picture really convey a sense of scale of this amazing scene. :-)

So you're suggesting that Alister is an insignificant human element? ;) Anyway it's a truly fine shot -- love all those reds and blues!

I absolutely love the colors and detail here Joerg. Excellent use of the grad filter too, everything looks natural and I enjoy the photographer in the photo adding some scale. Very well done.

Wonderful scene with great clouds and fantastic colors. The human in the center bothers me, though. Grabs too much attention. Ali should have known better and moved to the side of the frame as a photographer to photographer courtesy.

Ha - I didn't even know he was there, I was too focussed on what was in front of me :-) no blame accepted - LOL.

Beautiful. I think the figure actually adds a nice sense of scale to the photograph.

Wow, this is incredible Joerg! Really well composed and processed. Would do well in the Nature's Best "People in Nature" category. Just hope you have a signed model release ;)
