Pensive Primate - Motif

Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Wildlife Gallery, week ending 30th November, 2012!We found this contemplative chacma sitting on the railings of the H12 bridge over the Sabi river, KNP, SA, one morning.
I'm a sucker for rim-light!

An extremely photogenic subject! Rim lighting is my favorite. Detail and eyes are fantastic!

I love the light on this one, particularly how it illuminates the subjects eyes. Beautiful portrait!

This is so cool. The shape of the head with the tiny brain cavity just makes it look like something out of a SciFi move. Great use of directional light. The eyes here are really captivating.
