I asked for help few days back and thanks for all the help.

My old computer hard disk died and I replaced to install XP home German with service pack. I can calibrate my monitor using my old Eye1 however when it comes to saving the profiles nothing happens. The screen just stays there. I have tried it several times.

On my new laptop (dell vista 64) even after installing driver, and laptop telling me that the hardware is successfully installed : when I start the calibration software the very same eye1 is simply not found !!

Please help me, any suggestions/recommendations will be appreciated.

Are you sure you are using the 64 bit driver. If you are using the 32 bit driver it won't work.

I think yes.
And besides : I got my old PC to run again, installed XP and the related drives. There eye1 starts as usual -> when it comes to saving profiles nothing happens. It mus be something dumb I'm doing or have forgotten.
Does graphic card need any driver? I had changed my graphic card few months back as old one got ...well old. However it worked fine before the PC harddisk crashed.

You should install the current graphics card driver but that is unrelated to this problem. If it is happening on your old system where it used to work too, it might be user error. have you Googled this issue?
