This image was taken during a day of Hummingbird photography, where sometimes when the Hummingbirds don't appear, butterflies can often be seen at the flowering plants. ( This is a Zinnia, I believe). I fine late Summer day, I recall- sure miss those days now with the cold and snow of Winter!

Province of Ontario, Canada, image- September 3, 2024.
Thanks to everyone for viewing.

Nicely done! A fine specimen, well seen on the Zinnia. Winter is certainly making itself known here! At least there are no ticks, black flies or irritating pollens just yet! ;)

Fine image, a classic feeding pose on a pretty flower.
