Gorgeous setting and lovely detail and pose of the quail. I can just see the toe of the hidden foot there. Excellent.

One of my favourite images from your posts here on Naturescapes, Tim. The setting and the background, are just perfect- the yellow colours add such a nice touch to the photo. Excellent detail captured on the Quail, as well. Always thought this was more a species of semi-arid country, but apparently not. ( Saw one in the Southern Okanagan Valley, but nowhere else). Regardless, a pleasure to view.
