R5II, RF600f4, 2x, 1/3200s, f/9, ISO 2000, manual

Photographed at a local grassland area, it was a windy afternoon and the Harriers were more active before sunset than usual. It was nice to see this male bird. Please click on image for more details.

I like how the wind affected the BG. Really great shot of the bird in natural setting.

BG is great.... I do think this is a female though.

Thanks, Dan, I think this is a male bird, it's just not that gray because of the warm afternoon light, the underwing patterns of female Harriers look different: viewtopic.php?t=303792&hilit=northern+harrier

Awesome flight shot, I like the reed (or whatever that is) in the background, gives an impression of the habitat without distracting from the harrier.
