An immature Broad-winged Hawk photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas 23 November 2024.  1/3200 sec, f/5, iso 500, 150mm.

Large view looks a little better.

Good catch Gene. Not a species we see much out here. Can't imagine seeing one down this low right in front of me.
