Same day and spot as the Willow Tit I posted a few days ago.
Forstenrieder Park, south of Munich. It was about -3 degrees Celsius, so quite cold for such a little bird. If they don't eat a lot during the day, they are dead the next one. That was the main reason why I did not move closer. That way, they quickly got used to me and kept on feeding at the bird feeder someone had put up there. I am still amazed by how good Denoise in LR has become. I do now not mind shooting at ISO 8000 or even up to 12.800 if really necessary. Here a shorter shutter speed might have been enough but they never really hold still, so a longer shutter speed of, say 1/400s, would have resulted in fewer sharp images.
