Since there is no local Bird activity right now, I was glad to go with my friend to CRC (Canadian Raptor Conservancy) to have some Raptor shooting.
Some people came from USA, Quebec and far away places of Ontario.
I shot 6500 frames in two hours. 20 frames per second is way too much for my taste.

Cano R5
Canon 100-500
ISO 1250
F 9.0
1/2500 s

use that camera that is what it's made for and you were able to post an excellent image taken, more to come.

Wow- a fast shooter! Worth it, don't you think? Gorgeous wing and tail spread. Must have been a chore, though, sorting out all those shots.

Thanks Cindy. Unfortunately R5 has one speed in electronics; 20 fps. I wish it would have 10,12,15 as well. Sorting out and reducing the number of images is a boring chore but I have to do it.  :(

Terrific capture Karl. Time well spent. I quite like the details in the bg too.

Wonderful image, Karl. Certainly a great number of photos to go through, but the more taken, the higher percentage, of taking some very special ones.( Sounds like an excellent place to experience - an acquaintance showed me some images he had taken last winter of a snowy owl at the centre, plus other species, so it seems like an enjoyable outing.)

Thanks, Paul. I have been there a few times and it is always or almost always enjoyable. The owner James is a very intelligent person
and treats his birds as pets.
