This is what I want for Christmas ... hey you can always hope, right.  This along with probably 100 others have been sitting unprocessed since 2015.  Apparently I get bored easily and wander off to do something else a lot.

Great pose and winter light, Malcolm. The recent reports of owl sightings are promising.

The two tone background and the snow falling make it special.
I head that they are here North and East of Toronto already.

Beautiful. I'd be happy with this if the Christmas wish doesn't come true. Love the dual colored background and the falling snow. Of course, the owl is magnificent!

Wonderful image, Malcolm. ( The Snowy Owl is at the top of my list to see and photograph, so perhaps this is the year- tried Bronte Harbour last season, but was informed by locals that it was a very poor year, unlike other years which are generally quite productive, at that location).

Hey Paul

Yes there are occasional birds in Bronte but that's a difficult location for photography.  South of Ottawa, just north of Angus and around Chesley are far better bets,  There have been some sightings around London already but I'll wait for some snow to get the right setting.

Awesome! I like the background and the snow flakes. Great wing position and fantastic composition.
