TAKEN AT THE USUALLY POND THAT I VISIT, THE FISH IS A PUMPKINSEED SUNFISH ALSO CALLED A POND PERCH OR COMMON SUNFISH, ALSO GOES BY OTHER NAMES AS-WELL.

A fine image, Peter- nice colours captured from the water. ( The 400 f 5.6, worked very well here with the 1.4x tele.).

Looks like a good meal for the Hoodie. I like the fall colors in the water too, and the nice capture of the duck with a meal. Thanks for the fish enlightenment. I used to catch Sunnies when I was a little girl....many many moons ago!
