This is a rather common frog species over here. It is known as the 4 lined tree frog. After a short downpour, this fellow was perched on top of a blade of grass. Its very small, perhaps the size of a penny. I was afraid to frighten it off with my tripod, but it was not easily rattled. It only leapt off after quite a long spell.

90D, 180Canon macro,AP, f16, 1/60 sec , some fill in diffused flash
ETTL -2 1/3, tripod, slight crop, Photopea, some Topaz.

Hope the view is nice and comments welcomed.

I love to see the variety of tree frogs and this is a beauty, Darren. Lovely image of a pretty tiny subject!

Really cute little one. The size of a penny sure is small. Nice job with the flash.

Wonderful close view-I would never have guessed how tiny it is! Little guy looks very relaxed for his(her?) portrait. :)

Thanks Cynthia for the comments. Not sure if it's the right word but
equanimity comes to mind. :)

I think the long macro glass is abt right for its miniature size and also afford some precious working distance.

Yeah not sure it's a he or she lol
