They must be young 20-22 not older, tall, well trained and strong enough to stay still for two hours, all speak English. The clothes they wear are brown for spring and autumn
white for summer, and dark blue for winter. They wear two pairs of socks on each foot, so if there is a small imperfection it won't show. The most expensive of all are the shoes and they have nails on the soles. The rifles are authentic from the second world war M1 with 8 bullets in the magazine. Behind them is the monument to the unknown soldier, and they pay tribute every hour for the blood of the lost unknown soldiers. The building behind is the Parliament. The president for the first time in the history of Greece is a woman

I hope there is not a lot misktakes in the translation it tooks me time to do it don't know good english .

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide that information Kostas. You did alright as the English looks pretty good. Well done.

A great look into the history of your country once again, Kostas - and your translation is very interesting and very good!

Well done, Kostas. Nicely described and an interesting photo of guard. It must be hard to stand still for so long- maybe the shoes help!
