I was lucky to see them doing their dance and take a series of images. It was taken in Manitoba North Shoal Lake and Wetland area, only five minutes drive from my son's house. However, due to the short visit and busy schedule, I had only one hour and Marienna had an other hour to shoot.(Took only one camera this time)

Very cool courtship behavior, Karl. Too bad you didn't have more time in Manitoba.

Wonderful image, Karl- you certainly made the most of your brief time available for bird photography, with this stunning capture.

How wonderful to be able to see and record their classic courtship behaviour, Karl and what a shame you couldn't spend longer there while this was going on.
