A young male Blue Grosbeak from San Diego, CA.

Canon R7, Canon 600mm IS II, ISO 1000, 1/320 @ f/7.1.

Wonderful image, Terence, with the details captured on the Grosbeak, plus an excellent pose, setting, colours, perch, and a fine background, as well. I can't recall seeing this species posted on Naturescapes, in the past several years, so a welcome submission for us to enjoy.

Great find, Terence, I don't remember seeing many images of immature Blue Grosbeaks. The soft light and BG add to it.

Terence, Nice image. The bg isolates the young Grosbeak very well.
