We found this lovely little hybrid orchid yesterday - exhibiting the broader body, winglets and base protrusion of O. fuciflora and the distinct "H" of O. sphegodes. It also has lovely colourful sepals and petals, a feature unusually absent on O. sphegodes.

Composite image merged from 8K video file (≈40 frames) in Helicon Focus and cleaned up in PS.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great start to the week.

Hi Dave, thanks  - we are fortunate to have several small nature reserves in our vicinity, where these small beauties can be found.
These area where these were photographed is a well known birding hotspot - on our morning outing we enjoyed the intricate song of the nightingale hiding in the close by shrubs - while keeping an attentive ear for the call of the cuckoo or golden oriole - it doesn't get much better than this ;)

Orchid hunting - and finding, to the chorus of songbirds. What a treat, Sinuhe and this is a beauty!

Another great shot Sinuhe and a nice find, finding them is a good portion of the challenge of course.
