Bioluminescent Fungi  Omphalotus nidiformis

From the backyard last night, the Ghost fungus Omphalotus nidiformis, it is found growing in rotting wood and a few different patches have come up recently.  It's quite faint and you need to be at least partly dark adapted to see it well.  Shot using the live time function, each frame takes 16 minutes for the exposure plus the dark frame subtraction.

Love the way you captures this for maximum effect. Makes an excellent abstract too. Great job!
