A Coachwhip snake photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas 24 March 2023.  Coachwhips in South Texas can be three different colors.  Brownish like this one, greenish, and a bluish color.  The brownish colored snake like this one is the most common.

Great composition, low angle and the reflection adds to it.

Nicely done with the raised head and the extended, sensing tongue. Good to see some snakes for a change, Gene!

Terrific shot, with that tasting tongue out. Looks to be a very long snake from what I see in the background.

Very nice. The low angle and excellent detail make this an interesting image. But tongue out pose and the reflection put it over the top.
